Packer fans have had the luxury of rooting for several impressive and powerful offenses over the last 28 years. We like to think of those times as the era of the two all-star quarterbacks: Brett Favre (1992-2007) and Aaron Rodgers (2008-2020). Perhaps though, it makes more sense to think of it being the era of the West Coast Offense, as run by head coaches Mike Holmgren (1992-2998), Mike Sherman (2000-2005), and Mike McCarthy (2006-2018).
Well, Packer fans, that era is over in Green Bay. With the hiring of Matt LaFleur in 2019, the transition to a new offensive philosophy began.
