GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers won’t be without a long-snapper for long.
They plan to re-sign veteran Brett Goode on Sunday, according to a source.
The Packers did not keep a long-snapper on their initial 53-man roster after they cut Rick Lovato, who finished last season in Goode’s place. Goode sustained a season-ending knee injury last year on Dec. 20 against the Raiders, when he tore his ACL.
Goode worked out for the Packers on Saturday. The workout also included a physical, which Goode passed, the source said.
