The Packers will continue to rotate in Eric Stokes

On Thursday, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told the press that the rotation of cornerbacks Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine will “stay that way.” This is interesting, as cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) has been a full participant in practice for both practices this week.

If you’re reading between the lines here, this means that Keisean Nixon will likely kick into the slot full-time for the foreseeable future, as he was a preferred starter as an outside cornerback until Javon Bullard — who was starting in the slot recently — went down with an ankle injury last week.
