The Patriots’ visit to Lambeau on Sunday is a meeting between two teams moving in opposite directions. (It’s not often that a cliché also defies the laws of geography, but here we are.)
Slowly, the Packers are getting healthier. The Patriots have lost their QB1. The Packers’ defense has been improving overall since the mess in Minnesota, allowing a total of 45 points in three games. The Pats have allowed 71, including 37 to Baltimore last week. And although both teams have negative turnover ratios, the Packers are -2 while New England is -4.
The numbers are much closer on offense.
