UPDATE: 10:25 p.m. Saturday
Tonight’s updates concern two standouts we won’t be seeing for a while.
The first is 49ers RB Christian McCafftey. He had already been ruled out for tomorrow’s game in Minneapolis. But he was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, so his Achilles tendinitis will keep him out at least four games. This makes Jordan Mason a No. 1 running back for the foreseeable future.
The other is Marquise Brown, the Chiefs’ receiver who will miss the rest of the regular season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
