The path of a pro football player is often a long and winding road. Take Packers tight end Robert Tonyan for example. From relative obscurity at a small college program, to making an NFL roster, to breaking out as the league’s leading touchdown catcher at his position, to a slow start this year. Then, just as he seemed to be reasserting his prominence in the Green Bay offense, he blows out his knee and his season is over.
