There’s a pretty good chance a player who wasn’t drafted by the Green Bay Packers (or anyone else) this weekend will make a difference on the team.
It was Malik Heath and Emanuel Wilson in 2023, Patrick Taylor, Krys Barnes and Henry Black in 2020, and Yosh Nijman in 2019, not to mention Keisean Nixon, who went undrafted in 2019 and came to the Packers in 2022.
As you follow the Packers’ gathering of undrafted signings following the 2024 NFL draft, keep these players in mind as some of the best undrafted contributors in Packers history:
Willie Wood (1960 draft class)
He’s the gold standard for Packers undrafted free agents, and the gold jacket he earned as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame is the proof.
