Taysom Hill: Green Bay Packers QB deserves preseason start

Taysom Hill put on a show for those Green Bay Packers fans who stuck around to the end of the the team’s 24-9 preseason-opening win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday.

Not only did Hill lead the Packers’ deeply-seated depth chart squad on an 82-yard drive in the final minutes of the Packers win, but during that drive he hit Max McCaffrey for a 14-yard completion on third and long, stuck the ball perfectly on DeAngelo Yancey on a 46-yard strike down the right sideline, and then with just seconds on the clock, hit intriguing wide receiver Michael Clark on a sizzling back shoulder throw that was simply indefensible.
