Yes, the Chicago Bears have acquired Khalil Mack. Many of you think the Green Bay Packers blew it by not making that trade with the Oakland Raiders.
But let’s take an objective look at this.
First, the compensation.
The Bears got Mack, a 2020 second-round round pick and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick. The Raiders got a 2019 first-round pick, 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick, 2019 sixth-round pick.
Could the Green Bay Packers have done something like that? Sure. But the Raiders are betting on the Bears sucking, which they do — it’s a song.
