Green Bay Packers legend Bart Starr is recovering from a broken hip, an injury that his family said happened on Dec. 22.
"Three days before Christmas, Bart fell in our bathroom and broke his hip," the Starr family said in a statement Saturday released through the Packers. "Thankfully, it is a minor break and surgery was not necessary. He will be in a wheelchair for six weeks. He is doing great now. He has no complaints of pain and is in good spirits. It is a bit of a setback, but we are confident he will have a quick and full recovery.
