GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers are standing by suspended defensive tackle Letroy Guion.
The team restructured the final two years of his contract, according to a source, and Guion signed it on Friday - three days after the NFL announced it had suspended him for the first four games of this season. Guion was suspended for performance-enhancing drugs. In 2015, he served a three-game suspension for a substance-abuse violation.
Guion's new deal pushes back the two offseason roster bonuses he would have collected to later this season, the source said.
