The Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl left guard was making his way through the locker room inside Lambeau Field on Monday afternoon — as players returned to work after their bye week with a mid-morning practice to kick off preparations for Sunday’s road game against the Denver Broncos — when he was greeted with what Jenkins knew was a treacherous question.

Would the Packers, sitting below .500 at 2-3 and with an offense lacking both in identity and in productivity, really be creating as much panic amongst the team’s passionate fan base if veteran running back Aaron Jones hadn’t missed three of the last four games — and played sparingly in the one he suited up for — because of a lingering hamstring injury?
