GREEN BAY - Those traveling to Lambeau Field ahead of the Packers NFC Championship game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday afternoon could encounter snow-covered and slippery roads.
A winter weather advisory is in place for northeastern and central Wisconsin between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay. The storm is expected to produce between 2 and 5 inches of snow along a wide swath mostly south of State 29.
While the snow is expected to clear up by kickoff at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, the roads will be at their worst late Saturday into Sunday morning, the weather service said.
