In order to upset the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers need all the help they can get. They received their first big break, as right guard T.J. Lang returns from a foot injury that cost him multiple games.
Lang has dealt with multiple injuries this year. Prior to breaking his foot, the veteran offensive lineman dealt with a hip injury that significantly reduced his practice time. He returns to the starting lineup after rookie Jason Spriggs (and previously Don Barclay) served as fill-ins.
At the same time, starting inside linebacker Blake Martinez did not make enough progress with his MCL sprain to return to the lineup.
