When he wasn’t participating in football drills himself, Sammy Watkins was frequently crouched down with his hands on his knees to study the technique of young players on Thursday evening.
The veteran NFL wide receiver, who joined the Green Bay Packers in free agency this offseason, held his second annual free football camp at his alma mater, South Fort Myers High School.
The stormy weather didn’t deter Watkins’ efforts as the event was delayed until players were able to take the field and compete through a light drizzle.
