The Packers may play without their time full-time inside linebacker for the rest of the season.
The Green Bay Packers already knew that Sam Barrington was unlikely to suit up for Week 2's showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. Now, it appears the team must soldier on without their starting inside linebacker for even longer. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Barrington's ankle injury suffered during last Sunday's season opener will keep him on the shelf for the duration of the 2015 season.
Barrington suffered an initial ankle injury prior to team's trip to Chicago last weekend, enduring further damage during the game against the Chicago Bears.
