Third-year linebacker Sam Barrington is the Packers' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.
Each NFL team nominates one player for the league's highest honor recognizing community work, and the 32 nominees are eventually pared down to a handful of finalists. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was a finalist last year when the award went to Carolina LB Thomas Davis.
New this year, fans have the opportunity to help their favorite nominee secure an additional $20,000 for their cause via a social media Charity Challenge. Fans can simply use Barrington's unique hashtag (#BarringtonWPMOYChallenge) on any of their social media accounts to vote.
