For some of us, the nightmares remain fresh.
Almost exactly 20 years ago, Michael Vick and the Falcons came to Lambeau for the 2002-2003 wild card round and shredded the Packers 27-7, ending Green Bay’s season and leaving the home crowd, and pretty much everyone else, stunned. Vick ran for 64 yards in what was the Packers’ first ever playoff loss at home.
Ten years later, Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers trekked to Lambeau for the NFC championship game and stomped the Packers 45-31. Kaepernick ran for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
In 2022, Jalen Hurts gashed the Packers for 157 yards on 17 carries en route to a 40-33 Eagles win in Philadelphia.
