The Green Bay Packers have found a tremendous player in Robert Tonyan. Over the course of this season, Tonyan has been a reliable receiver for Aaron Rodgers, catching 50 of his 57 targets in the season’s first 15 games. Ten of those have gone for touchdowns, leaving him one short of a team record with one game to play.
In the 1983 season, Paul Coffman set a Packers tight end record by scoring 11 touchdowns. Coffman’s 54-catch, 814-yard season still stands as one of the best in team history, as he and Lynn Dickey proved to be a dangerous combination.
