It is not often that there could be a positive silver lining in a loss for the Chicago Bears, but one former NFL head coach believes that just happened. With their 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 11, the Bears lost their fourth consecutive game in a week filled with drama, highlighted by the firing of Shane Waldron and Thomas Brown being named the new offensive coordinator.
During the first three losses of their current four-game losing streak, the offense was beyond embarrassing in Chicago, which led to the dismissal of Waldron. Upon his promotion to offensive coordinator, Brown made quick changes to the offense that were clearly apparent, especially in the play of quarterback Caleb Williams.
