Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf let it be known on Wednesday that he wants to be traded to a contender, following unsuccessful contract negotiations with the franchise and the team’s release of fellow receiver Tyler Lockett. Both he and the Seahawks are now looking for potential trade suitors, as the team has acknowledged his request, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
So what are teams willing to give up for the right to pay Metcalf a new extension? NFL insider Josina Anderson reported on Wednesday night that there’s at least one team willing to give up a third-round pick in a trade for Metcalf.
