Report: Packers WR Christian Watson could land on injured reserve

On Monday morning NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Green Bay Packers receiver Christian Watson does indeed have a high-ankle sprain. It was previously reported that the Packers believed that Watson suffered a high-ankle sprain, but no one confirmed the injury before Rapoport.

Obviously, Watson is expected to miss a decent amount of games before he recovers from this injury. Generally, high-ankle sprains take six to eight weeks to fully recover from, though, NFL players often rush to the field before they’re back to 100 percent.

Per Rapoport, an in-season injured reserve stint is on the table, as he reported that Watson is expected to be out multiple games.
