-- Not much time was wasted in replacing Davon House's roster spot.
After the veteran cornerback was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers are expected to sign cornerback Bashaud Breeland, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
Breeland had been on the Packers' radar for quite some time, with the earliest reported interest being in March. That was before the Packers signed Tramon Wiliams, re-signed House and drafted a pair of rookie cornerbacks in Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson.
Alexander, Jackson and Williams were the only three healthy corners on the Packers' roster with Kevin King still nursing a groin injury.
