Odell Beckham Jr. was offered a contract worth the NFL veteran's minimum for the remainder of the season by the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Wednesday.
The former Pro Bowl wide receiver cleared waivers and is officially a free agent.
ESPN reported Beckham was considering three contenders -- the Packers, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs -- above other teams, and said the Saints were being "aggressive" in trying to land Beckham.
The Packers are in line after being criticized by quarterback Aaron Rodgers for not being involved in the bidding for top free agents in the past.
