According to Albert Breer of MMQB.com on Sunday, Clinton-Dix is listed as one of the candidates likely to be moved before the Oct. 30 deadline, which falls on a Tuesday.
"It's not that he's fallen out of favor -- he's actually played every step on defense for Green Bay through six games," Breer wrote. "But he's in a contract year, and the Packers have some depth in the secondary to play with."
It was later confirmed by Jay Glazer on FOX that Clinton-Dix is, in fact, on the trade block.
The Packers allowed veteran safety Morgan Burnett to walk in free agency -- and eventually sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers -- and were left with evident holes in their secondary as a result.
