Report: Myles White loses roster spot to James Jones

Two days after making Green Bay's roster, Myles White is being let go.

The Packers have informed White he will be released to make room for wide receiver James Jones, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports. The veteran receiver Jones agreed to rejoin the Packers on Sunday afternoon.

It was a good preseason for White, who led the Packers in receiving with 16 catches for 157 yards along with two touchdowns in the team's preseason finale against the Saints. His performance last Thursday seemed to solidify his spot on the roster.
