NFL teams aren’t usually big fans of players engaging in athletic pursuits that aren’t explicitly football-related - just ask the Kansas City Chiefs, who told MVP Patrick Mahomes to quit playing basketball after video of the quarterback on the hardwood surfaced earlier this offseason.

That rule apparently doesn’t extend to head coaches.

Via NFL Network’s Mike Silver, Green Bay Packers rookie head coach Matt LaFleur tore an Achilles tendon playing in a knockout game on a Lambeau basketball court Wednesday night.
