According to The Athletic’s NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love are “making progress” on an extension, but the deal is “not done at this time.” Love is going on Day 4 of his hold-in with Green Bay, as he’s sat out of the first three practices of training camp. Love apparently will not put on a yellow helmet until a deal is done, which I wouldn’t blame him for — considering that at least a quarter billion dollars are on the line.
Russini’s report is just the newest from the national media, which is flocking around what will likely be the most expensive contract in the history of the sport.
