Following the Miami Dolphins’ four-year, $212.4 million extension with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported that at one point it “appeared” that the Green Bay Packers’ extension with quarterback Jordan Love was going to get done before Tagovailoa’s but that the hiccup is now over contract structure. This should come as no surprise to Acme Packing Company readers, as we’ve stated since the start of this holdout that the biggest hurdle that the Packers are going to have to overcome in this quarterback market is getting Love to agree to rolling guarantees, rather than full guarantees.
