Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the Green Bay Packers could part ways with superstar cornerback Jaire Alexander this offseason. A two-time All-Pro and two-time Pro-Bowler, Alexander has played just 14 games in the past two seasons and is entering the second to final season of his current four-year deal. The likelihood of Alexander’s tenure ending in Green Bay after a seven-year stint gained steam on Friday after news circulated that the NFC North club is looking at landing Seattle Seahawks superstar wideout DK Metcalf.
Lost in the news on Friday is that the Packers have also met with one of the top corners in the upcoming NFL Draft during the Scouting Combine.
