Ravens QB Lamar Jackson misses third straight practice, dimming hopes he can play vs. Packers

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed his third straight practice Friday, dimming hopes that he could recover from a sprained ankle in time for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Jackson has been considered day-to-day this week, but after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, along with Friday’s walk-through, he’s unlikely to be available this weekend. Jackson, who’s never missed a game in his NFL career because of injury, was hurt early in the second quarter of the Ravens’ loss Sunday to the Cleveland Browns.

Backup Tyler Huntley, who nearly led the Ravens to a fourth-quarter comeback Sunday, is in line to make his second career start.
