The Green Bay Packers' matchup with the Baltimore Ravens just grew more difficult. One day in advance of the game, the Ravens activated running back Danny Woodhead off injured reserve, releasing backup tight end Gavin Escobar to make room.
A hamstring injury has sidelined Woodhead since the Ravens' season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Woodhead landed on IR shortly thereafter, making him eligible to return late in the season. With Woodhead available, Baltimore's largely ineffective offense receives a vital boost in advance of a pivotal tilt in Green Bay.
