GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Rasul Douglas likes to play things cool. Like during free agency, he said he wasn’t checking his phone or bugging his agent every day.
But when Damarious Bilbo got done negotiating Douglas’ return to the Green Bay Packers, the cornerback who was the biggest feel-good story of their 2021 season, couldn’t wait to get things finalized.
The three-year, $21 million deal that included a $5.3 million signing bonus got done last Sunday. The team scheduled Douglas’ physical -- which all players must take before a contract can be signed -- for Tuesday.
