Prior to making that decision, Cobb was clearly swayed by the truckloads of money being offered elsewhere. How close was he to leaving?

“It got pretty close,” Cobb said. “My heart never left Green Bay, but from the business side of it, the standpoint of me going to visit teams, we were a couple days away from that. And fortunately enough, we were able to get the deal done.
