One of the under-the-radar injuries that the Green Bay Packers suffered on Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons was to wide receiver Randall Cobb. In the fourth quarter with the game seemingly out of hand, Cobb left the field with what was reported as a shoulder injury and did not return.
Trevor Davis took Cobb’s place when the Packers went with three wide receivers, due in part to Jordy Nelson’s absence after he injured his left quad early in the game.
On Monday, Cobb is scheduled to have an MRI to evaluate his shoulder, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
