After one season on his two-year contract, former Green Bay Packers great Clay Matthews has been released by the Los Angeles Rams, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Matthews started 13 games for the Rams last season, recording 8 sacks. Following a disappointing 2018 season, the Green Bay Packers released him, making way for them to sign Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith.
When this news broke, of course, Packer fans immediately took to Twitter to call for a possible return to Titletown. Is a reunion between the The Claymaker and Green Bay Packers possible?
