Raiders fire former Packers coordinator

Back in the 2022 offseason, the Green Bay Packers allowed then quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Luke Getsy to leave for an offensive coordinator position with their division rival Chicago Bears because head coach Matt LaFleur thought it was important for Getsy’s career to gain play-calling experience. After just two years with the Bears, Getsy was relieved from his position in Chicago, leading to him signing on with the Las Vegas Raiders, again as an offensive coordinator, for the 2024 season.

On Monday, the Raiders made the announcement that after just nine games Getsy was fired from his position, making him a free agent once again.
