Green Bay Packers second-round pick Quinten Rollins landed himself on the non-football injury list to open camp with… a pulled hamstring!
The difference between this pulled hamstring and any of those suffered during The Great Hamstring Epidemic of 2013 is Rollins actually pulled his hammy while not on the Green Bay Packers’ watch.
Rollins hurt himself working out at his alma mater, Miami (OH), two weeks prior to training camp.
“I’m just trying to as healthy as possible so hopefully we don’t have to go through this problem again,” Rollins said Thursday. “Anytime you’re a competitor, you obviously want to be out there, but it’s always good to have people that are higher than let you know you need to take it easy right now.
