With the San Francisco 49ers on the docket for the Green Bay Packers this week, we are reminded of many great and gut-wrenching contests between the two.
Least favorite: Steve Young threads the needle to Terrell Owens to win the 1998 NFC Wild Card game. Not only did that play suck because it came at the end of the game. It also sucked because Jerry Rice fumbled earlier in that drive. It was called a non-fumble and there was no replay at the time. So the call stood.
Favorite: October 14, 1996. Chris Jacke hits the field goal in overtime from 53 yards to give the Packers the win on Monday Night Football.
