The search for Ron Kostelnik’s Super Bowl II ring continues after his son, Mike, lost it at an Indiana gas station last month.
His story went viral over the weekend, giving Mike hope that the more people who know about it the better chance the ring will be found.
“It does not matter if the state of Wisconsin thinks I’m an idiot, or the entire nation,” Mike said, laughing. “It’s all fine.”
Mike, 57, took his daughter Olivia to tour Miami University (Ohio) on Feb. 21 and had the ring in the console of his car while at a BP gas station in Greensburg, Indiana.
