The "Tush Push," made famous (or infamous) by Super Bowl LIX Most Valuable Player Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles, got a bit of pushback this past week. We learned that the Green Bay Packers, behind team president Mark Murphy, submitted a proposal to the NFL to ban the cheeky play.
A souped-up version of the quarterback sneak, the "Tush Push" tasks its offense's larger skill players with literally pushing their quarterback (by the tush) to gain a yard for either a first down or a touchdown.
