GREEN BAY, Wis. – Mason Crosby was back home in Texas, where it was a comfortable 75 degrees, when his agent, Mike McCartney, and the Green Bay Packers put the finishing touches on Crosby's new four-year, $16.1 million contract Tuesday afternoon.
The next day he was back in Green Bay, where temperatures were in the mid-20s, to take his physical and sign the paperwork.
It’s no wonder Crosby felt like he was home again at Lambeau Field on Wednesday.
No NFL kicker has made or attempted more cold-weather field goals than Crosby has since he came into the league in 2007.
