Packers WR Jake Kumerow scores first career touchdown against Jets

It’s mostly bad for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Currently, the Packers trail the New York Jets 21-7 in the second quarter.

There has been one bright spot for the Packers in the first half, however. The team’s one touchdown in this game came from local hero Jake Kumerow, the product of Wisconsin—Whitewater. From just across midfield, Kumerow lined up just inside the numbers on the right side and ran a go route.

Kumerow burned the cornerback in coverage, and Aaron Rodgers hit him downfield with the football as Kumerow made a move to shake a tackler and get to the end zone:

That reception went for a 49-yard touchdown.
