Before 2018, Davante Adams had come close to recording 1,000 receiving yards in a season but never quite reached the mark. That changed Sunday night when the Green Bay Packers receiver reached the milestone against the Minnesota Vikings.
He hit the mark on a 36-yard gain in the fourth quarter, which gave him four receptions for 60 yards at that point in the game.
Adams, the Packers’ undisputed No. 1 receiver, had twice come within the vicinity of the 1,000-yard threshold without going over. In 2016, he finished with 997 yards despite appearing in 16 games.
