Losing a star player during a training camp practice is always one of the greatest fears of coaches while preparing a team for the NFL season.
Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers got another big scare during Wednesday’s practice.
Receiver Davante Adams went down during an 11-on-11 drill and had to briefly leave the field, but the three-time Pro Bowler eventually returned for the walkthrough portion of the practice.
LaFleur wasn’t at all worried about Adams’ status following the practice.
“Fortunately for us, he’s going to be just fine,” LaFleur said.
