The battle at wide receiver is just getting started for the Packers. This especially applies to Jake Kumerow and Trevor Davis who were standouts during Friday’s Family Night. Cutting either of them will be extremely difficult considering the potential they have shown this offseason. However, pretty soon Green Bay will have to make some really tough decisions on who will make the final 53.
Eight receivers made the 2018 roster and Kumerow was surprisingly sparred from final cuts. He started to emerge in last year’s training camp as the Packers most productive receiver in the preseason but a shoulder injury limited him to five regular-season games.
