Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports that the Packers will host free agent DL Quinton Dial for a workout on Monday.
Dial, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was entering the second year of a four-year, $12.675 million contract that included $5.3 million guaranteed and set to earn a base salary of $1.5 million this season when the 49ers released him on Saturday as they cut their roster down to 53 players.
In 2016, Dial appeared in 14 games for the 49ers and recorded 36 tackles and two pass defenses.
