The Packers Women’s Association (PWA) is teaming up withPackers fans for the 30th Annual Food Drive for Paul’s Pantry prior to the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions game on Sept. 25 at Lambeau Field. This year’s effort is headed by co-chairwomen Alyssa Janis, wife of Packers wide receiver Jeff Janis, and Karen Capers, wife of Packers defensive coordinator, Dom Capers.
Prior to kickoff, PWA members will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations near the stadium gates. Each PWA member will be wearing a PWA jersey.
Volunteers from Paul’s Pantry, a supplementary food distribution program for the needy in the greater Green Bay area, will be assisting with the collection and wearing PWA pins.
