The Packers will work out veteran center Justin Britt this week, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Tom Silverstein.
Britt, who was let go by the Seahawks in April, tore his ACL in October 2019. Prior to that, he’d missed just one game in his NFL career. He’d been Seattle’s starter at center each of the past four seasons.
It’s not exactly clear why the Packers would be interested in Britt. They spent three picks on interior linemen in this spring’s draft. And although center Jake Hanson was cut, he was brought back on the practice squad.
