Sometimes, news breaks in the strangest places. Today, we have one of those examples, as the Green Bay Packers’ official store, the Packers Pro Shop, leaked some uniform-related news about the team.
The news circles around the team’s throwback jersey, which was up for renewal in 2020. The NFL dictates that teams may not change uniforms more than once every five years. For the Packers, 2020 was the first year outside of the five-year cycle on the team’s most recent throwback alternate uniform, which honors the uniforms that the team wore from 1937 to 1948.
